Ms. Angst has spent almost all of her life in the San Francisco Bay Area, growing up in Vallejo and graduating from Vintage High School in Napa. After high school, she studied at UC Berkeley (Go Bears!) where she met her husband while they were both members of the University of California Marching Band. With undergrad studies completed, she crossed the Bay to live in San Francisco where she went to San Francisco State University for her credential and for graduate courses in Instructional Technology.

 

Ms. Angst has taught at various high schools in Fremont, San Francisco, and Pacifica, and in 2013, she became a middle school teacher at Cunha. She finds joy in her work, educating students and seeing them become their best selves. Away from school, she likes to spend time with her family and attend live performances (not mutually exclusive activities).

 

In 2017, Ms. Angst was part of the teacher cohort for the American Conservatory Theater's Back to the Source where she spent an intense and amazing week studying voice, physical play, and devised theater. She has continued her theater studies at A.C.T.
